About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Specialist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiovascular program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases in children and adolescents, including congenital heart defects and acquired heart conditions.
  • Conduct research to improve our understanding of cardiovascular diseases and develop new treatments.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Board certification in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pediatric cardiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
