About the Role

Pelican International is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Coordinator to join its Salaberry-de-Valleyfield team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and register goods received in the ERP system SAGE.
  • Perform meticulous control of all incoming and outgoing goods in the warehouse.
  • Locate items in SAGE using their codes.
  • Retrieve and fill empty bins from floor kanbans.
  • Complete container handling records.
  • Distribute received parts and packages within the required time.
  • Identify carts and/or pallets for each Work Order (WO) and print picklists.
  • Plan floor space and aisle space for material receipts.
  • Identify and print warehouse picklists and identification sheets relevant to WOs in SAGE.
  • Restock parts returned by production to the system.
  • Produce and print serial numbers (ZEP).
  • Control the preparation of components for subcontractors.
  • Produce delivery notes (SH) in SAGE.
  • Produce shipping documents.
  • Train employees on inventory placement.
  • Assign work to other employees.
  • Establish and optimize the storage plan of materials in the warehouse.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in a similar position. You should have a good level of French and mathematics to complete various reports. You must be proficient in inventory management rules and concepts and able to use computer tools such as scanning, the Microsoft Office suite, and the integrated management system (SAGE or other). A valid competency card for operating a forklift is also required.
