Concordia University of Edmonton is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Dean of Management. As a key member of the university's senior leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement within the Faculty of Management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership to the Faculty of Management, including the Mihalcheon School of Management and the Department of Information Systems Security and Assurance.
- Develop and implement plans to enhance the diversity of the faculty, staff, and student body.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including industry leaders, government agencies, and other academic institutions.
- Secure funding opportunities to support research and academic initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes academic freedom, innovation, and excellence.
The successful candidate will possess a PhD in a related discipline and a solid record of success as a teacher and researcher. They will also have a proven track record of building relationships with external partners and securing funding opportunities.
