Job Title: Inventory Manager

Join our team at Groom & Associés / Associates as an Inventory Manager, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery teams.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage and execute inventory control procedures, maintain accurate inventory records, and optimize warehouse layout and storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Oversee and participate in physical inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Team to ensure optimal inventory levels and meet customer demands.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, safety, and overall operations of inventory.
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse and delivery staff to modernize processes and optimize operational efficiencies.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in Materials Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Materials Leader or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing practices and principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think and respond quickly.
  • Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability.
Work Environment:

This role will be performed in a combination of environments, including a warehouse setting. Ability to lift 25 pounds at a time is required. Overtime may be required.
