About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse III to join our team at the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide nursing services, including direct care, assessments, and coordination of healthcare services for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide or evaluate direct nursing care, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Develop, implement, and review nursing care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to our residents.
  • Supervise and evaluate the care provided by certified nursing assistants, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to enhance our services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse or a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license or a multi-state compact license.
