Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated pharmacist to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart. As a pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, managing pharmacy operations, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide consultation to customers, practice to full scope in providing professional services, and ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Manage the operations of the pharmacy, including workflow and inventory management, and ensure compliance with federal/provincial, regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and delegate assignments, and provide coaching to pharmacy colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or equivalent, and relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
