Unregulated Care Provider - Casual

At Aspira Cedar Crossing Retirement Living, we're committed to delivering exceptional care and services to our residents. As an Unregulated Care Provider, you'll play a vital role in our team, making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, adhering to our policies and procedures.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, monitoring residents' conditions and reporting any changes to the Director of Wellness.
  • Report incidents, near misses, illnesses, or problems with residents to the Director of Wellness or General Manager.
  • Provide guidance to Guest Attendants, ensuring care assignments are completed and changes in residents' needs are reported to the Director of Wellness.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, utilizing infection control principles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of the Personal Service Worker certificate program.
  • Completion of the Medication Administration training program provided on-site, with successful quarterly evaluations.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Current CPR training.
  • Experience working with seniors and knowledge of the aging process.
  • Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with medication administration is an asset.
