About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner/Scheduler III to join our team at Petroplan. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime through effective scheduling and planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead schedule review meetings to prioritize and optimize resource utilization.
  • Optimize resource utilization through resource levelling and grouping work by location.
  • Ensure all materials required for work order activities are available before scheduling work.
  • Work closely with maintenance coordinators and planners to coordinate schedule development.
  • Utilize SAP PM Module and Prometheus Scheduler to create weekly and 7-day locked schedules.
  • Lead Life Saving Rule verification and safety callout discussions in the weekly 7-day locked schedule meeting.
  • Establish and maintain thorough knowledge of external service providers' capabilities.
  • Steward continuous focus on cost and value optimization in alignment with Production Operations strategies.
  • Work with field leadership to determine priority of activities for scheduling.
  • Identify gaps in SAP Master Data compliance and take required action to address issues.
  • Provide input into the improvement and optimization of PM Plans.
  • Work with Supply Chain personnel for material and vendor requirements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years Oil &/or Gas experience.
  • 3+ years Maintenance scheduling experience.
  • Experience in maintenance scheduling processes.
  • Maintenance Planning an asset.
  • Experience with SAP PM & MM modules.
  • Experience using Prometheus Scheduler is an asset.
  • Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
