Job Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a related field is an asset.
Work Environment
  • Outdoor settings with varying weather conditions.
  • Work may involve heights and exposure to noise and dust.
  • Conditions may range from cold to hot environments.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in moving tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
  • Support tradespersons and apprentices by following directions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas.
  • Utilize welding and brazing equipment to measure, cut, and connect piping.
  • Help in assembling and installing air conditioning and refrigeration components.
  • Conduct system startups and perform leak tests using appropriate devices.
  • Engage in maintenance tasks, including recharging refrigerant and calibrating systems.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
  • Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
