Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at JAGBRING CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our landscaping crew, you will assist in the construction and maintenance of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, functional, and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our experienced team to build and install outdoor features, such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Tie and Secure Plants: Safely transport and plant trees, shrubs, and flowers, ensuring they are properly secured and watered.
- Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the health and appearance of our outdoor spaces by removing weeds, pruning trees, and trimming shrubs and flowers.
- Cut Grass: Operate lawn mowers and other equipment to maintain the appearance of our lawns and outdoor spaces.
- Rake and Collect Refuse: Remove debris and litter from our job sites, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Remove Litter and Garbage: Dispose of waste and recyclables in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist in the transportation and application of topsoil, mulch, and other materials to our job sites.
- Lay Sod or Seed: Install new lawns and outdoor spaces by laying sod or seeding areas as needed.
- Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Plant and maintain a variety of plants, flowers, and trees to enhance the beauty of our outdoor spaces.
- Apply Fertilizers: Safely apply fertilizers and other chemicals to promote healthy plant growth.
- Dig Cemetery Graves: Assist in the excavation of graves in a respectful and efficient manner.
- Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our landscaping equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
- Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Regularly water and maintain our outdoor spaces to ensure they remain healthy and visually appealing.
- Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Safely operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools.
- Work Under Pressure: Work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines to meet and tasks to complete.
- Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as mowing lawns and trimming shrubs, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Physically Demanding: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring regular lifting, bending, and manual labor.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure our outdoor spaces are safe and visually appealing.
- Work Term: Permanent: This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
- Work Language: English: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace, and proficiency in English is required for this role.
- Hours: 40 hours per week: This position requires a regular 40-hour workweek, with occasional overtime as needed.
