Job Description

CS Group Canada is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing training, deployment plans, coaching, and expertise services to companies regarding cyber security standards applicable to their domain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Analysis: Prepare risk analysis in accordance with ISO 21434 and IEC 62443 for complex systems, hardware, and software to improve design and propose secure implementations.
  • Cybersecurity Frameworks: Develop cybersecurity frameworks and cybersecurity management systems (CSMS) as per UN R155.
  • Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis regarding the client's current development process and applicable cybersecurity standard requirements.
  • Cybersecurity Guidance: Provide guidance on how to perform cybersecurity activities for operational technologies, including security analysis, vulnerability analysis, cybersecurity concept development, security architecture design, test and validation strategies, and product development according to applicable standards.
  • Technical Discussions: Participate in technical discussions as part of business development efforts.
  • Review and Verification: Perform reviews and verification for cybersecurity work products.
  • Cybersecurity Testing: Provide guidance on how to perform cybersecurity testing-related activities.
  • Test Plans: Participate in the elaboration of test plans and their execution for cybersecurity aspects, including penetration testing, fuzz testing, and vulnerability analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in Cybersecurity and relevant disciplines.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering in domains such as automotive, aerospace, medical, and nuclear.
  • Cybersecurity Standards: Knowledge of J3061 and ISO 21434, IEC 62443, or other similar cybersecurity standards.
  • System Development Lifecycle: Full system, hardware, or software V development lifecycle experience (requirements, design, implementation, verification, and testing).
  • Cybersecurity Solutions: Knowledge of implementing cybersecurity solutions in embedded systems, such as HSM, secure boot, secure diagnostic, secure on-board communication, and secure end-to-end architecture and secure OTA update (according to UN R156 SUMS).
  • Testing and Validation: Knowledge and experience in testing systems and software in the context of cybersecurity threats.
  • Soft Skills: Curiosity, autonomy, pro-activity, and ability to find innovative solutions and compromises.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.
Assets:
  • Security Tools: Knowledge of security tools such as ANSYS Medini and Itemis.
  • Functional Safety: Knowledge and experience in Functional Safety and its respective standards, such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.
  • Project Management: Knowledge of project management and productivity tools, such as MS Office and Jira.

Candidates must be located in North America and eligible to work in Canada.
