Heating and Air Conditioning Technician Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Heating and Air Conditioning Technician Assistant to join our team at JM MECHANICAL CORP. as a key member of our maintenance and repair team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Tradespersons and Apprentices: Provide support to experienced technicians and apprentices in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and air conditioning systems.
- Move Equipment and Materials: Safely transport tools, equipment, and other materials to and from job sites.
- Signal Safety Procedures: Alert other workers and the general public to potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Clean Work Areas: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cleaning of machines and immediate work areas.
- Assist with Installation, Maintenance, and Repair: Assist experienced technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and air conditioning systems.
- Work Site Environment: Work outdoors, at heights, and in various locations, including potentially hazardous and noisy environments.
- Work Setting: Work in various locations, including warehouses and job sites.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, and handling heavy loads.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Paid Time Off: Paid time off for volunteering or personal days.
- Parking Available: Parking is available on site.
- Permanent Employment: This is a permanent, full-time position.
