As an Investment Advisor Associate, you will collaborate with a team of Investment Advisors, providing proactive guidance and support to clients while assisting in the cultivation of new relationships. Identifying fresh opportunities and contributing to business growth will be integral to your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize RBC Dominion Securities' esteemed brand to establish a clientele of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business proprietors, addressing their intricate financial requirements.
  • Employ RBC's comprehensive investment and wealth management tools to design tailored portfolios and financial strategies for clients.
  • Build and nurture trusted, often multi-generational, long-term relationships through personalized service and expert advice.
  • Collaborate with RBC partners in Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance to ensure holistic support for clients' financial needs.

Qualifications for Success

  • Registered Representative (RR) approval with CIRO (if not already obtained, must be willing to achieve licensing within 6 months of hire).
  • Completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT).
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in the investment sector, providing face-to-face advisory services on investment products.
  • A university degree.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
  • Strong client service capabilities.
  • Proficiency in business applications and technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
