Associate Director, Third Party Governance

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to join our Third Party Management team at MUFG Investor Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and implementing our Third Party Management governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and identifying and mitigating key risks that impact our clients and business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of our Third Party Management governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and performing ongoing review of its effectiveness in identifying, reducing, controlling, and reporting key Third Party Management risks.
- Ensure third-party risk management and Third Party Management policies and procedures adhere to regulatory standards, and coordinate with Compliance, Operational Risk, and internal/external audit to meet group and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a point of contact for Third Party Management related queries, provide guidance and training in line with third party management policy, procedures, and regulations to internal clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee, advise, and support all parties in the performance of ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews of Third Party engagements, including on-site inspections and assessments of proposed new engagements.
- Identify third-party management issues and risk trends, agree remedial action, and implement best practice in alignment with favorable trends.
- Assist in maintaining the group records of Third Party Providers and Outsourcing Registers, drafting and distribution of documentation for the completion of assessments, ongoing monitoring, and periodic reviews.
- Continuously look to automate and develop third-party management processes for efficient completion of third-party management governance.
- Assist in reporting to the Outsourcing and Risk Committees, the Boards of all outsourced service receivers, and MUTB on the third-party management governance framework.
- Prepare and deliver client due diligence presentations as directed, participate in client due diligence, RFPs, or external third-party provider assessments as required.
- Manage, support, and train other members of the Third Party Management team as necessary.
Requirements
- Primary level degree in law, business, finance, or a relevant professional qualification.
- Prior experience in in-house legal practice, third-party management, risk, or compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerBi, and other data analysis tools.
