About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Technical Account Manager to join our team at SearchLabs. As a key member of our Information Technology division, you will work closely with executives within our managed client's organization to provide solutions by thoroughly understanding their business and technology needs.

This role requires a strong ability to link IT systems to business objectives, a firm grasp of IT project planning and management, and a proven track record of success in sales and consultative roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Discover and understand the client's short and long-term business goals and develop strategies that align to their targets and respect financial budgets
  • Formulate strategic IT goals and plan the IT budget, identifying business risks
  • Analyze and rework business processes and facilitate technology changes
  • Provide proactive and appropriate infrastructure design upgrades and make data-driven, high-impact recommendations to client decision-makers
  • Create and communicate alignment standard reviews to optimize business processes, facilitate tech improvements, and evaluate the IT landscape
  • Optimize business processes and facilitate technological improvements for managed service clients and generate MRR growth within the client base
  • Work with internal teams to create and update technical standards to reduce client risk and reactive support time
Requirements
  • A university-level bachelor's degree in computer science, information sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Three to five years of field experience in client-facing technology sales or consultative roles
  • Three to six years' experience in system administration and/or tier 3 technical support
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably technology sales, and experience in the IT budgeting and cost analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in French and English, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate-to-advanced skills and knowledge of standard office applications
