About the Role

PCL Constructors Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Edmonton NAHQ office. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing best practices, processes, and programs to attract, source, assess, and mobilize top talent who fit and add to our culture.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize our recruitment marketing campaigns, drive efficient and effective processes, and find innovative solutions to attract top talent.
  • Stay informed of TA innovations, advancements, and labor market trends, and apply this knowledge to your work to drive results.
  • Research and recommend solutions based on stakeholder feedback, market trends, and best practices.
  • Develop training, documentation, and communications to support team initiatives.
  • Use analytical skills to evaluate data, develop insights, and influence stakeholders to action.
  • Identify and evaluate external vendors/consultants and manage partnerships and deliverables.
  • Collaborate across HR and the business to ensure alignment with priorities and initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related TA experience, with a strong background in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Experience developing enterprise-wide recruitment programs, campaigns, and strategies.
  • Significant experience with social recruiting platforms and TA technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of best-in-class TA metrics.
  • Research and problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding innovative solutions.
  • General knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Flexible and adaptable team player with excellent communication and project management skills.
