We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Braemar Retirement Centre in Wingham, Ontario.

Job Summary

This is a full-time, part-time, or permanent position that requires a Registered Practical Nurse Diploma with the College of Nurses of Ontario. The successful candidate will provide nursing care consistent with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards, Long-Term Care sector legislation, and the organizational policies and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Provides nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Completes assessments and supervises care provided by Health Care Aides/Personal Support Workers.
  • Assists the Registered Nurse in the oversight of the building, after hours and on weekends.
  • Maintains accurate and timely clinical records.
  • Administers medication following established policies.
  • Maintains effective communication and positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and families.
Requirements
  • Registered Practical Nurse Diploma with the CNO.
  • Effective written and oral communication in English.
  • Minimal 2 doses of COVID-19 Vaccination.
