Employee Relations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at goeasy Ltd. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance to management on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and concerns, ensuring a fair and impartial process.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee relations, including training programs and communication initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement performance management plans, including performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
- Provide coaching and guidance to management on employee relations best practices and company policies.
- Stay up-to-date on changing employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to management.
- University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in employee relations or HR generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including provincial standards and human rights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees and management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters with discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
