Team Insights

The Global Logistics and Trade Technology division is focused on unlocking business opportunities in collaboration with our Global Fulfillment and wider Supply Chain partners. Our teams provide solutions that facilitate the efficient movement of products from manufacturers to distribution centers, and from there to retail locations and customers, as well as managing international trade logistics and settlement activities.

This position will contribute to the Outbound Logistics Technology team, applying best practices in QA engineering to develop and deploy microservices for luluRoute, our proprietary platform that functions as a parcel execution engine. This platform interfaces with our Warehouse Management System and Omni systems to obtain shipping labels and tracking information from our carrier partners for outgoing shipments, while also providing a front-end application for retail locations to monitor incoming shipments and supporting SFS functionality across North America and globally.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss ongoing development and support issues.
  • Act as a liaison with functional QA leads and backend Java developers to design and implement an automation framework based on core principles.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts to support QA testing scenarios.
  • Create and assess code to establish automated testing programs.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for high-performing, robust, and scalable platforms utilizing advanced cloud computing knowledge.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure tests are executed automatically during all build and deployment phases.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Architect and Sr. Engineers to manage the QA automation roadmap.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test scripts.
  • Evaluate platform performance under high-volume conditions and utilize tools to simulate peak loads, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
  • Work with Engineers, product, and business teams to ensure quality is embedded in our software engineering through test-driven development.
  • Monitor testing outcomes and report on the quality of development efforts.
  • Collaborate with teams to refine acceptance criteria and the definition of done for user stories.
  • Partner with engineers to implement permanent solutions for recurring issues.
  • Conduct research to support product troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Participate in post-mortem discussions and address action items from deployment defects.
  • Utilize innovation and automation to deliver sustainable solutions and scalable performance testing results.
Required Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on QA automation.
  • At least 8 years of experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using Java, JSON, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
  • Familiarity with the Supply Chain domain, particularly in warehouse management and digital solutions.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with relational databases, particularly SQL.
  • Advanced understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and multi-cloud strategies.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong business acumen along with effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous innovation.

Compensation and Benefits

Lululemon offers a compensation structure based on a pay-for-performance philosophy that acknowledges exceptional individual and team contributions. The typical salary range for this position is $123,500 - $154,400 annually, with the base pay determined by market location and varying based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Permanent employees in this role may also be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to eligibility requirements.

Workplace Arrangement

This position is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy, requiring in-person collaboration while allowing for remote work. Employees are expected to work onsite at least three days per week.
