Job Title: Carpenter

At Joamat Inc, we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Scheduling and coordinating work on sites.
  • Instructing apprentices and supervising other workers.
  • Estimating costs and materials.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy, dusty environments.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
  • Travel expenses paid by employer.
Work Environment:

Our team works in various locations, including construction sites, residential areas, and commercial settings. As a Carpenter, you will be exposed to a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and handling heavy loads.
