About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Trainer Consultant, SNAP Youth Justice Program. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organization in the field of child and youth mental health and behavioral program delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Capacity Building
    • Deliver training sessions to Affiliate sites to ensure successful implementation and launch of the SNAP Youth Justice program.
    • Provide program guidance, technical setup, and support to Affiliate sites.
    • Facilitate ongoing training and capacity building to ensure Affiliate sites are equipped to deliver the program effectively.
  • Consultation and Support
    • Act as a consultant and advisor to Affiliate sites, providing guidance and support to ensure alignment with program requirements.
    • Communicate with Affiliate sites to answer questions, provide guidance, and troubleshoot issues.
    • Maintain relationships with Affiliate sites to ensure ongoing success and compliance with program requirements.
  • Documentation and Quality Assurance
    • Support the development of new training and resource materials.
    • Track all consultation, training, and community-related activities and communications using the SNAP Implementation Tool.
    • Support Affiliate Sites' quality assurance activities, including monitoring program integrity and accreditation activities.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in delivering individual and group evidence-based cognitive-behavioral multi-modal programming.
    • Experience working with high-risk children and youth, and applying gender-sensitive approaches.
    • Understanding of the youth justice system, facilities, services, and governing compliance requirements.
  • Skills
    • Excellent training and capacity building skills.
    • Strong consultation and support skills.
    • Ability to work in a highly distractible environment with sensitivity to the uniqueness and demands of a public service agency.
  • Education
    • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. social work, psychology, education).
