Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Province wide contracting Inc.

Job Summary:

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to a high standard, meeting the required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Work Environment:

The Concrete Finisher will work in a variety of environments, including dusty, hot, noisy, outdoors, and wet/damp conditions.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate and reliable
  • Team player
Working Conditions:

The Concrete Finisher will work on-site, with regular hours of 40 to 44 hours per week.

The primary language of work is English.
