Administrative Assistant

The ideal candidate will possess an interest in advancing and pursuing a career in the wealth management industry, with a focus on Financial Planning. Candidate must have completed or be willing to complete the Canadian Securities Course, and ultimately work towards a Financial Planning designation.
Responsibilities:
• Manage social media accounts, create, and schedule posts, monitor engagement.
• Prospecting of new clients and other professional contacts through the use of social media.
• Management of website including content, as well as SEO strategies.
• Assist with cash management functions of client accounts.
• Manage the content and distribution of a quarterly newsletter.
• Assist with financial planning for new and existing clients.
• Assist in the customization of company discretionary trading platform.
• Assist and provide backup support in all aspects of office administration.
Requirements:
• Industry experience and training an asset.
• Enrollment in or completion of the Canadian Securities Course.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), and social media platforms
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Salary Range: $20 - 25/hour based on Education, Work Experience, etc.
