About the Role
We are seeking a Wills & Estates Lawyer with strong experience in Wills, Testamentary Trusts, and Estates to join a growing Ottawa office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Testamentary Trusts, including complex Wills
- Manage all aspects of estate administration
- Provide high-quality legal opinions, advice, and documentation
- Work closely with clients and colleagues in a collaborative team environment
Requirements
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Wills, Estates, and Testamentary Trusts
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures and statutes
- Excellent drafting, analytical, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage complex issues while considering client and team wellbeing
- Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Professional, client-focused, and proactive
Assets
- Experience in Real Estate
- STEP membership
- Bilingualism
- Existing book of business (not required)
