Vancouver, Canada Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre Full time

Key responsibilities:

- Be familiar with current licensing regulations, policies, and is responsible to implement them as directed.

- Plan and conduct staff meetings, review timesheets, ensure child records are maintained and plan field trips and activity calendar.

- Work in collaboration with the Program Coordinator to plan, supervise and evaluate the work of staff, volunteers and students.

- Provide orientation to families about the program, meet with families when needed, and communicate regularly with families.

- Work as a front-line childcare worker.

Basic ECE

- Have a minimum of one year's experience working with children in a licensed or recreational setting. ECE and Special Needs ECE an asset.

- Have Early Childhood Education, CYCC or equivalent and 20 hours of Responsible Adult Training or Equivalent as required by BC Childcare Licensing.

- Be knowledgeable of the 2019 BC Early Learning Frameworks and inclusive practice.

- Hold a valid First Aid, Food Safe, clear Criminal Record and an immunization record.

- Have sound knowledge of BC Childcare Licensing Regulations and child development.
