Decode Talent is working with a rapidly growing technology company transforming how businesses handle cloud infrastructure and deployments. The platform serves enterprise clients across North America, processing millions of deployments annually. They’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Infrastructure team and help scale out cloud operations.

The Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll lead cloud infrastructure initiatives and shape the overall technical operations strategy. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with development teams to improve the deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS/Azure services
- Architect and maintain Kubernetes clusters for our microservices architecture
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple development teams
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and provide technical leadership
- Document infrastructure designs and operational procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation for production support

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong expertise in AWS/Azure cloud platforms and services
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack)

Preferred Qualifications

- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with multi-cloud environments
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Experience with HashiCorp tools (Vault, Consul)
- Background in software development
- Experience with GitOps practices
- Knowledge of compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001)

- IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins
- Version Control: Git, GitHub
- Scripting: Python, Bash
- Security: HashiCorp Vault, CertManager
