Overview

We’re seeking a Content Strategy Specialist to join our Content Marketing team in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto.

What your team does

The CNE Content Team partners with teams across Clio—including Sales, Enablement, Partnerships, and Marketing—to lead content strategy, governance, and distribution. We ensure content is consistent, scalable, and aligned with business priorities, while optimizing how it’s planned, produced, and delivered. Through the website, email, direct mail, events, guides, reports, and ads, we communicate Clio’s value to prospects and customers at every stage of their journey.

Who you are

The Content Strategy Specialist will be the operational hub of our content engine. You are systematic, process-driven, and passionate about bringing clarity and efficiency to a fast-paced content ecosystem. With 3–5 years of experience in content operations or a related field, you value content governance and understand how a well‑oiled machine fuels business growth. You collaborate effectively with diverse teams to ensure content is consistent, effective, and easily discoverable. You don’t just manage content; you build the systems that make it successful.

What you’ll work on

- Lead Content Audits: Drive regular content audits to identify gaps, remove redundant or outdated content, and ensure our content library is accurate, on-brand, and effective.
- Drive Content Governance & Process: Develop, document, and socialize our content strategy processes. Be the go-to expert for content creation, approval, and publishing workflows, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Manage Our Content Hub: Configure and manage our digital asset management platform with sales enablement and other key teams, ensuring it is the single source of truth for all employees.
- Enable Cross-Functional Teams: Work with product marketing, sales, customer support, and other teams to ensure they have the assets they need and understand how to use our content systems.
- Implement and Standardize: Assist in implementing new content tools and technologies, ensuring seamless integration and adoption across the organization.

What you may have

- 3–5 years of experience in a content operations, content marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of content lifecycle management, taxonomy, metadata, and governance best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for identifying process gaps and inconsistencies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate processes and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Serious bonus points if you have

- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana) and sales enablement/DAM platforms (e.g., Seismic).
- Experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
- A passion for building efficient systems and improving processes.
- Experience with AI and machine learning applications in content strategy or operations, including building or implementing AI tools to enhance efficiency and scale.

We aim to hire candidates between the minimum and midpoint of the full salary range. The full salary range for this role is $72,200 to $97,800 CAD, with location-based variations. Final offer depends on experience and skill set.
