Contract Specialist

Contracts Specialist will be responsible for managing complex, high-value strategic agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory expectations while driving value through strong supplier relationships and risk mitigation.
Experience
- P.Eng., PMP, CPA, CA, or CFA are preferred. Degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with additional analytical tools is considered an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate procedures, reports, and technical documentation before implementing solutions.
- Support the development and enhancement of tools and processes used to monitor and report on contractual and operational obligations related to large-scale facilities.
- Review notices or proposals submitted by counterparties and prepare recommendations for management decision-making.
- Monitor and conduct due diligence on technical and financial submissions from contract counterparties, ensuring that all required evidentiary documentation is provided.
- Experience in reading, interpreting, and managing contracts.
- Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis capability, attention to detail, and data management skills.
- Proven ability to lead projects, plan tasks, and coordinate resources.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for preparing reports and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
