Responsibilities

- Perform a variety of cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors

- Manage garbage collection and maintain cleanliness of washrooms

- Monitor and restock inventory in public areas and clinics

- Operate housekeeping equipment and handle various assigned tasks as required

- Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required

Job Requirements

Mandatory

- Successful completion of high school diploma

- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position in order to perform the essential duties of the job which requires standing, bending and lifting for extended periods of time

Preferred

- Experience with and proven ability to operate an automatic scrubbing machine, wash walls, buff and burnish floors with appropriate equipment, strip and wax floors using necessary equipment and chemicals

Skills and Knowledge

- Must be able to adapt to a fast paced, constantly changing environment

- Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills, both verbal and written

- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history
