We are currently seeking a 310T Mechanic to join our Mississauga Maintenance Team. This is an opportunity to work in a professional, safety-focused environment where your technical expertise will directly contribute to keeping our fleet moving and our passengers safe.

Bus Technician/ Mechanic Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, drive trains, brake systems, electrical, HVAC, suspension, and steering components.

Perform preventative maintenance inspections and document all work in compliance with MTO and company standards.

Conduct test drives and diagnostics to verify the effectiveness of repairs.

Respond to road calls and perform mobile repairs as required to support on-time service delivery.

Identify and communicate additional maintenance needs or potential safety issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Hand.

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area at all times.

Follow all safety procedures and ensure adherence to company policies, environmental standards, and the Canada Labour Code, Part II (Occupational Health & Safety).

Participate in ongoing training and technical development programs to stay current with emerging vehicle technologies.

Bus Technician/ Mechanic Qualifications & ExperienceValid 310T Truck and Coach Technician License.

Minimum 3 years of experience working with heavy-duty diesel vehicles (preferably in a fleet, coach, or transit environment).

Demonstrated proficiency with diagnostic software and computerized maintenance systems.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, diesel engines, brake systems, and hydraulic repairs.

Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Proven ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Principales responsabilitésDiagnostiquer, réparer et entretenir les moteurs diesel, les groupes motopropulseurs, les systèmes de freinage, lélectricité, la climatisation (CVC), la suspension et la direction.

Effectuer les inspections dentretien préventif et consigner tous les travaux effectués conformément aux normes du MTO et de lentreprise.

Effectuer des essais routiers et des diagnostics pour vérifier lefficacité des réparations.

Répondre aux appels sur la route et effectuer des réparations mobiles au besoin afin dassurer la continuité du service.

Identifier et signaler tout besoin dentretien supplémentaire ou tout risque potentiel à la sécurité au superviseur ou au chef déquipe.

Maintenir un espace de travail propre, organisé et conforme en tout temps.

Respecter toutes les procédures de sécurité et veiller à lapplication des politiques de lentreprise, des normes environnementales et du Code canadien du travail, Partie II (Santé et sécurité au travail).

Participer à des formations et programmes de perfectionnement technique afin de demeurer à jour sur les nouvelles technologies des véhicules.

Qualifications et expérienceDétention dun certificat valide de technicien(ne) 310T Camion et autocar.

Minimum de trois (3) ans dexpérience avec des véhicules diesel lourds (de préférence dans un environnement de flotte, dautocars ou de transport en commun).

Maîtrise démontrée des logiciels de diagnostic et systèmes dentretien informatisés.

Solide compréhension des systèmes électriques, moteurs diesel, freins et réparations hydrauliques.

Excellentes habiletés en communication et en tenue de documentation.

Capacité démontrée à travailler de façon autonome tout en favorisant le travail déquipe.
