C&A Group is actively recruiting Journeyperson Pipefitters/Plumbers to join our rapidly expanding and dynamic team of Mechanical professionals in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

Wage

Base Journeyperson Rate - Up to $42.00/hr

We Are Looking For

- Has knowledge of Safety & Quality Codes relevant to pipe fabrication (B31.3, CSA Natural Gas and Propane Installations B149-15, 2020 Alberta Plumbing Code)?

- Has the ability to read and interpret mechanical, structural, and architectural drawings Blueprints?

- Has Pipe Fabrication and Installation Skills?

Plumber/Pipe Fitter Journeypersons are required to perform some or all the following duties:

Key Responsibilities

- Functional knowledge of operations including but not limited to process piping systems, steam, water, air, gas, sanitary and hydraulics.

- Knowledge of Safety & Quality Codes relevant to pipe fabrication (B31.3, CSA Natural Gas and Propane Installations B149-15, 2020 Alberta Plumbing Code).

- Reading, understanding, and following project drawings, shop drawings and verbal directions.

- Installing pipes, supports, and equipment in a timely manner according to the drawings.

- Visualizing and reviewing drawings, 3D Models and other project data for material take-offs and pipe runs.

- Ordering the correct materials and ensuring use for the correct application.

- Planning, executing, and supervising projects in a professional manner.

- Reading and understanding project schedules, milestone dates, and requirements.

- Leading production and installation teams throughout project execution.

- Coordinating production and installation with clients and sub-trades.

- Coordinating subcontractor requirements and dates with the Project Manager.

- Training apprentices on how to perform tasks to a high quality standard, in a safe and professional manner.

- Executing pressure tests to the test procedures specified for each piping system.

- Installing fixtures and equipment according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

- Troubleshooting problems that occur and providing solutions or contacting the appropriate parties to resolve issues.
