Job Description

At Pattison Agriculture, we seek talent ready to GROW, CONNECT AND EVOLVE with us We are looking for a Parts Technician (Shift) to join our fast-paced, energetic dealership in Russell, MB. This shift is new to the location and may include days/evenings/weekends/compressed work week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be a first point of contact with customers and be a part of the future of agriculture. Our Parts Technicians are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers through selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories. In one of Canada’s top John Deere dealer organizations, you will deliver quality work in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.

Responsibilities

- Provide an exceptional customer service experience in person and on the phone
- Assist internal and external customers with troubleshooting, locating parts and resources, and placing orders
- Make suggestions for additional items that may be beneficial or help with preventative maintenance
- Assist in all areas of the parts department as needed, such as housekeeping, stocking shelves, merchandising
- Receive, put away, and count inventory
- Build and maintain customer and co-worker relationships
- Participate in training to develop skills and knowledge

Requirements

- Agriculture parts and machinery knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Experience working with software systems
- The ability to lift heavy parts
- A valid driver’s license
- The ability to work flexible/extended hours and weekends
- Farming background/experience an asset
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Parts Department environment
- Journeyman Parts Designation an asset
