From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSGS’ tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible forAs Centralized Pricing, AVP you will:Service some of the largest Hedge and Private Market Funds in the world.Responsibility for the service delivery of Centralized Pricing to internal and external parties.Act as a role model in establishing and maintaining key relationships with clients, colleagues and business partners.Hold all staff accountable for the quality and timeliness of services provided by the fund groups. Responsible for the achievement of specific department performance targets and objectives.Monitor if internal controls and quality of work meets business and clients’ standards.Provide oversight and support to internal and external business transitions.Identify and initiate the efficiency across the teams.Work closely with Global and Regional teams to manage onboardings and resolve the challenges.Ensure full understanding, adherence and implementation of the corporate Risk Policy and Standard Operating ProceduresEnsure appropriate stakeholders are adequately updated on a regular basis regarding all aspects of your client/s account, highlighting all potential risks with possible solutions in a timely manner.Set up and monitor execution of development goals for the team membersWhat we value These skills will help you succeed in this role:An aptitude for influencing and effectively communicating ideas to team members, senior management, and clients.A polished, professional outlook and manner.Ability to work independently, to coach, mentor, and lead initiative.A sense of accountability, a customer-service mindset, as well as a talent at problem-solving in a fast-paced, deadline driven and ever-evolving business environmentEducation & Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of Hedge Fund Products including Fund of Hedge Funds.Experience in Hedge and Private Equity trade bookings and reconciliation.Experience in securities valuation.Strong technical knowledge of hedge and private equity securitiesSecurities structures understanding and ability to recognize details from the offering documents.Experience in Hedge Fund and Private Equity client’s onboarding.Ability to provide leadership, vision and direction for managers and staffEffectively communicate with clients and senior management, as well as staff and peers within State StreetDemonstrate the ability to assess and suggest resolution to a problemFinance, Accounting, Business Degree would be an assetMinimum 6 years in Fund Accounting or similar financial industryAbout State StreetWhat we do.
