Northwood is currently accepting applications for a RN Facility Supervisor to join our team in Halifax
Reports to Manager, Nursing Services
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in the Province of Nova Scotia.
- Bachelor of Nursing degree or combination of relevant experience/education.
- Six to ten years of relevant work experience
- Experience in physical assessment required
- Experience in mental health considered an asset
- Experience in long term care and acute care considered an asset
- Experience working in a unionized environment considered an asset
- Current knowledge in concepts and trends in nursing and management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certificate required
- WHMIS required
- GPA and PIECES required
- Certificate in Gerontology considered an asset
- Alzheimer's and other related dementia care course considered an asset
- NVCI considered an asset
- Must have regular and consistent attendance in accordance with the Northwood corporate standard.

No Guarantee of hours (12 Hour shifts)
