Site Manufacturing Production Supervision Leader

Production Superivsor - Days and Afts (supporting all 3 shifts for vacations)

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet targets.
- Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed on the shop floor.
- Lead and train production staff to maintain high efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules.

Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a production supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.

Measuring Criteria

- It is the responsibility of the Production Supervisor to coordinate the People and Processes tied to the production floor to ensure that safety, quality and delivery are met for our Just-In-Time / Just-in-Sequence production Environment.

- Problem solving and troubleshooting production related issues and root cause analysis.

- Conduct disciplinary investigations and review, focusing on corrective actions.

- Administration of the Collective Agreement and Grievance procedure under the direction of the Human Resources Manager.

- Interface with Logistics department to ensure 100% material accuracy.

- Interface with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure PM programs and safety matters are addressed.

- Perform LPA’s and resolution of issues.

- Maintain low scrap and rework focusing on root cause elimination.
- Supporting
- Follow division’s KPI’s and implement strategies to achieve divisional goals and objectives.

- Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the plant manager for Safety Related matters requiring immediate attention

- Take every precaution reasonable to protect the Health and Safety of the workers.

- Perform Kaizens & investigations for every line defect.

- Ensuring compliance to and participate in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance & ISO 14001 certification

- Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for quality related nonconforming matters requiring immediate repair

- Supporting the launch of ISO 45001 and ISO 50001
