This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, and skills in cybersecurity to protect our systems and data from potential threats.## Key Responsibilities:## System Administration:* ## Manage and maintain servers, workstations, and network infrastructure.* ## Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and application software.* ## Monitor system performance, perform regular maintenance, and troubleshoot issues.* ## Backup and restore data to ensure data integrity and availability.* ## Ensure system availability and performance through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.* ## Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard the organization’s information assets* ## Respond to and manage security incidents and breaches, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.* ## Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices to continuously improve security posture.## Compliance and Documentation:* ## Ensure systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.* ## Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, changes, and security measures.* ## Provide training and support to staff on security best practices and system usage.## Collaboration and Support:* ## Work closely with other IT staff to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.* ## Provide technical support and guidance to users, resolving issues in a timely manner.* ## Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects and initiatives.## ## Qualifications:* ## Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.* ## Experience: + ## Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role 2-3 years. + ## Strong experience in cybersecurity practices and technologies. + ## Hands-on experience with system installation, configuration, and maintenance.* ## Skills: + ## Proficiency in operating systems (Windows) and server management. + ## Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., intrusion detection systems, antivirus software). + ## Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. + ## Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.## ## ## Preferred Attributes:* ## Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).* ## Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, O365) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
