Intermediate Informatica & Powercenter Developer Target Start Date: Jan 5thDuration: 6 monthsRemote/Hybrid: Hybrid. Every Monday and the first Friday of the month. Potential for expansion of onsite days.Office Location: 81 Bay 15th FloorWhat project will this contractor be working on? Its informatica data quality - adding business rules into the application. Testing data quality afterwards.Job Description:The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using in-demand languages and technologies (e.g. - Informatica etc.) to support business requirements.This role is for a Data Governance project and will require ~2000+ rules to be created. The candidate will be taught how to use the new system.Job Responsibilities:• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive mannerMust Have Requirement:• *** Working hands on experience using Informatica data quality suite• Informatica & Powercenter• Strong knowledge of the following:-SQL Server-Oracle-Netezza-Data modeling-Database Architecture• proficiency in writing complex SQL queries• Development experience in needed language or technology (e.g. - WebSphere, Informatica etc.)• Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end• Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC Apply
