Commercial Planning Analyst

LOCATION: Calgary, AB - Canada

DEPARTMENT: Planning

Role

Tenaris is looking for a Commercial Planning Analyst (internal Title: Marketing Analyst) to join our Planning team in our Calgary Downtown Office.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze the Canadian Oil & Gas market dynamics, customer trends, and competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities for Tenaris.
- Monitor imports, trading trends, pricing movements, and market share evolution, providing actionable insights to management.
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of the commercial budget and sales forecast; track performance vs forecast and explain key deviations.
- Prepare periodic market reports, dashboards, and presentations to support commercial strategy discussions.
- Work closely with the commercial and technical sales teams to align market insights.
- Contribute to enhancing analytical tools, databases, and methodologies for more efficient reporting and forecasting.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Science or Engineering
- Experience in oil and gas or manufacturing industry preferred but not limited to
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Exposure to Power BI
