Job Description
- Oversee and manage the entire estimating process for construction projects.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, including materials, labour, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Review bid documents and ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Lead and mentor a team of estimators to achieve project goals.
- Analyze historical data to improve accuracy in future estimates.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.

The Successful Applicant
- 10+ years of estimating experience, ideally in institutional and / or commercial construction, with projects in the $5M to $20M range
- Deep knowledge of tendering processes and cost breakdowns
- Strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
- Ability to lead pre-construction meetings and value engineering sessions
- Gold Seal is considered an asset.
