Position Overview
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist seeking a challenge in a fast-paced software sales cycle environment to join our team.
Reporting to the Sales Operations Director, the Sales Operations Specialist will play a fundamental role in contributing to the achievement of sales targets by supporting sales representatives, coordinating sales activities, improving efficiency and maintaining good customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be professional, proactive, organized, assertive and comfortable engaging throughout the customer journey to build strong relationships and deliver an overall high-quality experience both with internal stakeholders and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales executives to close deals faster and shorten order processing time.
- Create, prepare and follow up on new and renewal maintenance and subscription quotes as needed.
- Assist in managing and updating CRM data (Salesforce) to ensure accurate pipeline and activity tracking.
- Execute sales process-related tasks in Salesforce and in external partner systems to ensure orders are properly set-up for processing.
- Communicate with customers to ensure orders are confirmed and processed in a timely fashion, including follow-up on completion of required paperwork.
- Liaise with 3rd party supplier(s) to resolve order-processing challenges.
- Effectively communicate with the Maya HTT order management team to ensure orders are processed on-time.
- Inbound lead follow-up to support business development and growth as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English and French (The position requires regular interaction with colleagues, suppliers and customers based outside of Quebec, nationally and internationally).
- A bachelor's degree or DEC in business administration or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or customer service.
- Experience in a software and services sales environment (asset).
- Strong communication and customer-service skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organized, self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
