Position SummaryPonderosa Lodge, located in Kamloops, B.C., is looking to hire a Rehabilitation Assistant to join it rehabilitation team on a casual basis. Days of work are Mondays to Fridays; 08:00 to 17:24.Rehabilitation assistants play a vital role in helping residents maintain and improve their mobility, independence, and overall well-being. Working alongside an interdisciplinary team-including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and care aides-you’ll have the opportunity to apply your skills in a supportive environment that values teamwork, learning, and resident-centered care.In this role, a Rehabilitation Assistant:- Is empowered to operate at the top of their scope.- Engages patients through consistent therapeutic interventions.- Drives substantial progress in meeting patient needs and their rehab journey.- Serves as an integral member of the rehabilitation team.- Is relied upon as the eyes and ears of the rehab team, ensuring comprehensive care.What we offer:We are one of Canada's Top 100 employers and offer welcoming workplaces with a range of benefits and policies to support you at every stage of your career.This is opportunity means hours may vary weekly and shifts may be at short notice.
