Position Description :

Are you a Red Seal certified Mechanic looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and experience? We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team. As a Red Seal certified Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- Perform Comprehensive Diagnostics, Maintenance, and Repairs : Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify mechanical issues, perform necessary repairs, and carry out routine maintenance tasks on a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Utilize Expertise to Resolve Mechanical Issues Efficiently: Apply your technical knowledge and skills to quickly and accurately diagnose and fix mechanical problems, minimizing vehicle downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct Routine Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Regularly inspect vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Perform preventive maintenance to enhance vehicle reliability and longevity.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed and precise records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and any issues encountered. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible for future reference.
- Stay Up to Date with Industry Best Practices: Continuously update your knowledge of the latest automotive technologies, tools, and best practices. Attend training sessions and workshops to stay current with industry advancements.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other mechanics, service advisors, and team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Share knowledge and assist colleagues when needed to achieve common goals.
- Provide Exceptional Service to Clients: Deliver high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs and maintenance procedures, ensuring they understand the work being done on their vehicles.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment to ensure equipment longevity and enhance workplace safety.

Skillset, Education & Experience :

- Must hold a Red Seal certification in Automotive Service Technician or Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician, demonstrating a high level of expertise and recognition in the field.
- Extensive experience as a Red Seal certified Mechanic, with a strong track record of successful repairs and maintenance. This includes a history of diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues efficiently.
- Skilled in using a variety of diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and address vehicle problems. This includes familiarity with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to explain technical information clearly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrates reliability, responsibility, and a collaborative spirit to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Dedicated to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Adheres to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of all team members and the longevity of equipment.
