Job Description Posted Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 6:00 AM | Expired Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 5:59 AM Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Assistan"t to join our team at Mayfair Drugs in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Patient Focused Care Responsibilities - Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care - Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner - Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician - Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols - Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits - Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations - Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers - Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications - Previous Pharmacy Assistant experience in a retail pharmacy witha preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business is preferred. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software, Kroll is an asset. - Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Schedule (Casual) - One 8-hour shift per week, scheduled between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
