The Fabrication Welder will play a key role in assembling, fabricating, and welding components to support custom, made-to-order products.
The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing and a good understanding and ability to use a variety of different machinery and tools. This individual will have a great attitude, be physically capable and motivated to get the job done. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and fabrication drawings
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals and thicknesses
- Fit, assemble, and weld components according to specifications
- Use hand tools, grinders, sandblasters, and cut-off saws as required
- Inspect and test welds for accuracy, quality, and conformance to standards
- Assist with material preparation, including cutting, beveling, and cleaning metal surfaces
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained, clean, and in proper working condition
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
Experience:
- Proven welding experience (CWB certification an asset)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Respectful and reliable team player
Base Salary: $23 – $24 per hour
Work Hours:
- 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Monday – Friday
Remote Work:
- This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
Additional Notes:
- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
