The Technical Business Analyst will support the Wealth Management Monitoring Department within NFRT, which assists the Risk and Compliance divisions in monitoring Financial Advisors’ adherence to firm policies and procedures. This role involves performing business analysis, data analysis, and project management tasks such as eliciting and documenting business requirements, managing user acceptance testing (UAT), and supporting product development. The ideal candidate is a self-driven and strategic thinker capable of collaborating across teams and leading initiatives within a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements including Agile user stories, proof of concept models, and related documentation.
- Analyze data sets to identify data gaps and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address them.
- Liaise with development teams to ensure product design aligns with business requirements.
- Conduct Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and create and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans.
- Manage project plans, monitor timelines, and escalate delays to program leads as needed.
- Lead cross-functional teams, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and manage project risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in global organizations.
- Strong proficiency in Data Analysis, including SQL and relational databases.
- In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and IT project management.
- Experience with BDD and medium to large-scale development projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across diverse teams and regions.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to manage challenging situations professionally.
- Knowledge of trade lifecycles and asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, Options, Futures).
- Understanding of compliance surveillance platforms (Actimize, MANTAS, SunGard, SMARTS) and their associated models, including wash trades, spoofing, insider trading, and other surveillance scenarios.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of trades data, positions data, and reference data management.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
