Site Reliability Engineer

We're hiring a Site Reliability Engineer for a remote work engineering position at Botpress Technologies Inc. This role focuses on ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our platform, making it a critical software engineer position for maintaining high service performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and maintain scalable infrastructure using AWS and other cloud technologies

- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery

- Enhance platform observability with advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

- Lead incident response and support the engineering team in issue resolution

- Develop systems to boost platform reliability, resiliency, and uptime

- Implement security best practices across all operational environments

- Manage infrastructure as code with tools like Terraform and Pulumi

- Document operational procedures, disaster recovery plans, and system runbooks

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or similar roles

- Expertise in AWS services like ECS, S3, Lambda, and RDS

- Proficiency in Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes

- Skilled in CI/CD tools, infrastructure-as-code, and automation scripting

- Knowledgeable in incident management and site reliability principles

- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical teams

- Ability to remain calm and systematic under pressure during production issues

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus: Previous experience in a fast-paced startup or SaaS environment.
