You’ll be supported with the time you need to meet the needs of your clients, meet your own needs, develop yourself and your career, and be part of a team. - Subsidized OPSWAmemberships - Paid travel time and mileage between clients - Mobile device and 3 uniforms provided Qualifications - Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) - RN or RPN - Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed) - Home Support Level 2 or level 3 from a recognized curriculum - Valid Developmental Support Worker Certificate - Foreign trained healthcare professional – Nurse Requirements - A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required - Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus and Covid - Current vulnerable sector check (VSC) - Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid - Availability to work days or evenings - This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement ROS eligibility - Successfully completed an Ontario PSW training program on or after April 1, 2023, at a public-assisted college, private career college, district school board or Indigenous Institute that meets the 2022 program standard established by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities program standard - Begin employment with a participating employer between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2026 - Commit to 12 months of employment at a full-time work schedule Further information: healthforceontario.ca all PSW initiatives About SE Health At SE, we love what we do.
