The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Front End Developer to join our team for a 3 month contract with potential to convert to full-time. As a Junior Front End Developer at Thinkingbox, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Developers in a collaborative environment. This internship offers hands‑on experience in developing interactive web applications and immersive digital experiences for our diverse range of clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Collaborate with designers and developers to translate creative concepts into engaging user experiences.

- Develop responsive and visually appealing front end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure cross‑browser compatibility and seamless functionality.

- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in front end development to enhance project outcomes.

- Assist in the maintenance and updates of existing websites and applications.

- Contribute ideas and solutions to enhance user experience and overall project quality.

What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Familiarity with front end frameworks such as React, or Vue.js is a plus.

- Basic understanding of design principles and UI/UX best practices.

- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

$45,000 - $55,000 a year

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity, candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
