Our client is currently looking for BILINGUAL Disability Claims Analysts to handle a number of benefit claims for LIFE and CRITICAL ILLNESS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Analyzes all information relevant to determining obligations: contract provisions, medical proof, non-medical factors, government programs, legislation, internal policies and procedures.
2. Makes appropriate and careful selection and use of internal and external interventions: cases referred to our consulting physicians, the supervisor, and a medical expert.
3. Provides customer service on files assigned to him/her by answering calls from all parties involved in the files.
4. Interacts with the relevant computer systems to update data and make payments, when applicable, taking contract details and internal directives into account.
5. Occasionally participates in meetings with policyholders for a critical review of files.
6. Recommends measures destined to improve the sector’s service and productivity performance.
7. Proactively acquires and improves knowledge of tools, policies, processes, products, and services.
8. Carries out certain technical and administrative tasks to support file management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. One year of experience in LIFE, CRITICAL ILLNESS, STD/LTD disability is an ASSET.
2. BILINGUAL ENGLISH/FRENCH Strong verbal and written communications skills is a must.
