Apprentice Electrician

Under the general supervision of the Red Seal Endorsement Construction and Maintenance Electrician and the Maintenance Supervisor, the Apprentice Electrician is responsible for installation, repairs, and general maintenance on all electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications within the building envelope.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum one to six (1-6) years’ experience as an enrolled apprentice electrician.
- In depth working knowledge of the Electrical Energy Code of Canada.
- General knowledge on the practical application of plumbing, electrical and mechanical principles.
- Ability to read, apply and understand related laws, regulations, policies, and codes of the electrical trade.
- Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal skills.
- Good computer knowledge.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must provide a recent satisfactory CPIC or proof of application.
- Ability to speak Cree language is considered an asset.
- Valid Class “G” Driver’s License or willing to obtain within a reasonable period.
- Provide copies of certificates, diplomas/degrees along with submitted resume.
Duration: Permanent with 3 months probation
